Katalyst of Disaster is a progressive/gothic rock band bringing an intense melodic sound possessed within powerful and intricate rhythms carried by a metal style backbone. The music cuts it's own path, with each songs having its own light, captivating a spectrum of emotions. The band utilizes many different style influences to highlight the music, unique time signatures, and an occasional twist of humor. Katalyst of Disaster is always working to bring it out the music in new creative and more challenging ways and will not dissappiont when brought to the live stage.

Amber brings a hauntingly melodic voice to the music. She gives the keyboards rich tones and dimension which encompass the emotional moods of the various songs, and an occasional cello to thicken the rhythms or give a dynamic interaction with the other instruments. Amber has played and explored music compositions off and on since childhood and is now is a primary composer for many of the songs played by Katalyst of Disaster.

Brett is the backbone and foundation of the music, giving strong support through heavy and dominating rhythms. The thick resonate sound escaltes the intentsity of the music. Brett is a founding member of the band, composing several of the bands songs. He has played bass since the 1990's in the bands Eidolon & Drooling Dogs before founding Katalyst of Disaster.

Eric gives the music both a symphonic touch and a driving force to the music through the rich song of the cello. It adds both a delicate beauty and intensity to the overall emotion of the music. Eric has played cello since highschool, is the owner of Cremme Music Studio's, and teaches cello, violin, and viola from the studio. He is the lead cellist for the West Valley Symphony and played previously with the rock band Creaturehouse.

Rick is the pulse of the band, giving a powerful foundation of driving drumbeats and rhythnmic accentuations to the music. His vocals give a more aggressive overtone as the mood calls for it. Rick has been playing music since gradeschool and has a strong background in many different styles of music.
